Tokyo Police Club is one of my favorite bands of the past couple years. The first song I ever heard from them was "Cheer It On" and I was pretty much immediately hooked. "Cheer It On", "Nature Of The Experiment", and "Citizens Of Tomorrow" all spent time in heavy rotation on popfreeradio.com and we recently started spinning "In A Cave" off their latest disc, Elephant Shell. The new album won't be in stores until 4/22/08, but to promote the release the band has made one track off the new disc available for free download on their myspace.
Punk icons, NOFX, have a new TV show debuting on FUSE on April 15th. I'm not a big fan of TV or reality shows, but I am a big NOFX fan, so I'll probably at least check out the series.
The band posted a new myspace video late last night featuring clips from episode 1 of the new series that includes footage of an amazing show in Chile that made me jealous of the Chileans.
Oh how I wish we had shows like this in Kansas City...
